Robert was born on June 7th, 1920.  Robert's father was Gus Francis Buche and his mother was Catherine Genevieve Forrestal (Buche).  His paternal grandparents were August  Buche and Catharine.  He is the second of five children.  He had four sisters named Jean, Mary, Patricia and Teresa.  He had a half-brother named Gordon.
