Lucinda was born in 1837 in Larue, Kentucky, USA.  Lucinda's father was Issac Essex and her mother was Susana Neff.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Essex and Nancy Mcloy; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Neff and <Unknown>.  She was the third of twelve children.  She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Alford, Thomas, Samuel, James, Solomon, Luanna, Mary, Sarah, Nancy and Martha.  She died at the age of 18 on July 15th, 1855 in Larue, Kentucky, USA.
