Frank was born on June 29th, 1874.  Frank's father was Laurenz Bowar and his mother was Sybilla Schlimgen.  His paternal grandparents were Franz Bouvard and Catherine Isler; his maternal grandparents were Johann Schlimgen and Christina Schuetz.  He was the youngest of ten children.  He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Mathias, Lawrence, Joseph, Charles, Henry, Mary, Josephine and Christine.  He died at the age of 69 on August 1st, 1943.
