Fred was born on March 15th, 1885.  Fred's father was John Hubert Hohn and his mother was Anna Sybilla Schlimgen.  His maternal grandparents were Mathias Schlimgen and Katharine Elizabeth Schell.  He was the second of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Bernard, William, Carl, Josephine, Tillie, Martha and Mary.  He died at the age of 73 on September 15th, 1958.
