Josephine was born on March 4th, 1888.  Josephine's father was John Hubert Hohn and her mother was Anna Sybilla Schlimgen.  Her maternal grandparents were Mathias Schlimgen and Katharine Elizabeth Schell.  She was the fourth of eight children.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named Bernard, Fred, William, Carl, Tillie, Martha and Mary.  She died at the age of 72 on April 11th, 1960.
