Martha was born on March 17th, 1891.  Martha's father was John Hubert Hohn and her mother was Anna Sybilla Schlimgen.  Her maternal grandparents were Mathias Schlimgen and Katharine Elizabeth Schell.  She was the sixth of eight children.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named Bernard, Fred, William, Carl, Josephine, Tillie and Mary.  She died at the age of 90 on May 29th, 1981.
