William was born on July 4th, 1886.  William's father was John Hubert Hohn and his mother was Anna Sybilla Schlimgen.  His maternal grandparents were Mathias Schlimgen and Katharine Elizabeth Schell.  He was the third of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Bernard, Fred, Carl, Josephine, Tillie, Martha and Mary.  He died at the age of 64 on April 8th, 1951.
