Frederick was born on August 4th, 1868.  Frederick's father was John Schlimgen and his mother was Amanda Josephine Heppner.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Schlimgen and Margaretha Jansen.  He was the second of six children.  He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Louise, Bertha and Mary.  He died at the age of 63 on September 18th, 1931.
