Katherine was born on July 5th, 1889.  Katherine's father was Charles T Schlimgen and her mother was Anna Wermers.  Her paternal grandparents were Mathias Schlimgen and Katharine Elizabeth Schell.  She was the fourth of eight children.  She had three brothers and four sisters, named Paul, Charles, Joseph, Emma, Emma, Ida and Anna.  She died at the age of 82 on August 13th, 1971.
