Sybilla was born on November 25th, 1832 in Germany.  Sybilla's father was Johann Schlimgen and her mother was Christina Schuetz.  Her paternal grandparents were Joannis Schlimgen and Eva Zeres; her maternal grandparents were Hermanni Schuetz and Gertrudis Schuetz.  She was the fourth of six children.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Mathias, Engelbert, Peter, Gertraud and Elizabeth.  She had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named John, Gertrud, Anna Maria, Eva, Louisa and Anna.  She died at the age of 78 in 1910.

Laurenz and Sybilla were married in a religious ceremony on October 11th, 1856 in Cross Plains, Dane, Wisconsin.  They had seven sons and three daughters, named John, Mathias, Lawrence, Joseph, Charles, Henry, Mary, Josephine, Christine and Frank.

Male John Bowar
John was born in 1857.  He died at the age of 81 on March 30th, 1938.

Male Mathias Bowar
Mathias was born on January 28th, 1858 in Primrose, Dane, Wisconsin.  He died at the age of 72 on October 26th, 1930 in Dimock, Hutchinson, South Dakota, USA.

Male Lawrence Bowar
Lawrence was born on September 8th, 1859 in Primrose, Dane, Wisconsin.  He died at the age of 84 on January 30th, 1944.

Male Joseph Bowar
Joseph was born on September 8th, 1859.  He died at the age of 90 on November 9th, 1949.

Male Charles Bowar
Charles was born on September 14th, 1862.  He died at the age of 64 on January 31st, 1927.

Male Henry Bowar
Henry was born in November 1864.  He died at the age of 73 on March 26th, 1938.

Female Mary Anne Bowar
Mary was born on July 1st, 1867 in Cross Plains, Dane, Wisconsin.  She died at the age of 72 on January 13th, 1940 in Ethan, Davison County, South Dakota.

Female Josephine Bowar
Josephine was born on December 6th, 1868.  She died at the age of 70 on October 1st, 1939.

Female Christine Bowar
Christine was born on January 28th, 1872.  She died at the age of 82 in 1954.

Male Frank Bowar
Frank was born on June 29th, 1874.  He died at the age of 69 on August 1st, 1943.
