William was born on August 12th, 1882.  William's father was John Schlimgen and his mother was Maria Baur.  His paternal grandparents were Mathias Schlimgen and Katharine Elizabeth Schell.  He was the second of three children.  He had a brother and a sister, named Anton and Aurelia.  He died at the age of 50 on November 25th, 1932.
