Louise was born in 1873.  Louise's father was Mathias Schmitz and her mother was Elisabeth (Louisa) Schlimgen.  Her maternal grandparents were Johann Schlimgen and Margaretha Jansen.  She was the third of four children.  She had a brother and two sisters, named Frank, Josephine and Eva.  She died at the age of 85 in 1958.
